Brownies


Ingredients
  • 35 g unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 115 g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 200g sugar
  • 64 g sifted flour
  • 50 g pecan pieces (optional)
Method
  • Line a 9 x 9 inch pan with baking parchment or use butter and flour to keep the brownies from sticking.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 350F.
  • Melt the butter and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. 
  • Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. 
  • Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick or knife comes out clean.
  • Set aside, wait until they cool to cut and eat them.
